Most recently, Rocco’s Voice for Autism, in collaboration with the Town of Oyster Bay, was able to build the first ever Inclusive Playground in the area for children with disabilities. 

In addition to the park's inclusive equipment, that provides children with special needs a multi sensory play experience, we were able to install a communication board to provide children who are non speaking the opportunity to express their immediate needs. 

A communication board displays photos of park equipment,  numbers and simple recognizable images to help children with limited language skills express themselves to their peers and family members.
